Applicants or students who have enrolled at Vedic Hindu University have the right to cancel/terminate their enrollment and request a refund of the tuition fees they had paid. The refund process is not automatic, hence, students who terminate their enrollment must request enrollment agreement cancellation and refund request in writing (including e-mail) at accounts@vhu.ac
Withdrawal from any program at Vedic Hindu University
Fees paid under the Non-refundable category do not apply to this refund policy. Students will not be refunded such fees.
For any refund request upon cancellation or withdrawal of the student's admission to the programs at Vedic Hindu University, students must follow the given stated procedures. All refunds will be governed by this refund policy.
- Submission of 'Notice Cancellation Form' and writing an application and refund request to saccounts@cvi.ac
- The amount of fees to be refunded will be calculated from the date of receiving the cancellation notice form
- All refunds are maintained and issued by the account department of VHU
- The Accounts department will issue the refund within 35–40 days of the submission of the cancellation form, following a thorough process of verification and approval.
- No refunds will be disbursed if the student fails to or is yet to repay any financial aid/fellowship/scholarships received from the university as well as other organizations (if applicable)
Financial Aid repayment
VHU is obligated to repay funds in the following matter (if applicable)
- Title IV Financial Aid
- Federal Direct Stafford Loans: Subsidized and Unsubsidized
- Scholarships
- Refunds of such aid
- will be calculated based on the percentage of tuition contributed by the source.
- A processing fee of $10 must be borne by the student
- A full repayment will be issued only to those students who withdraw before the first day of the term.
- All the Financial aid/Fellowship/Scholarship amount received must be paid back in full amount by those applicable students
VHU will declare students' withdrawal under the following category. Please note that the refund policy does not apply to all withdrawals
Cancellation of Enrollment Agreement raised by the students
Termination of students on the following grounds:
- Failing to adhere to the University’s rules and regulations
- Failing to maintain satisfactory progress
- Students exceeding the acceptable number of days of absence from classes
- Failing to meet the financial obligations towards the University
- Absence from class for three consecutive weeks
- Not returning from a leave of absence
- No refund will be initiated in the case of the student having attended 60% of the program.
- Refund amounts will be processed after making the necessary deductions
